ALEXANDER PLOTNIKOV
Biography
I was born on the 27th of July, 1967 in the town of Emanshelinsk of Chelyabinsk region.
I got primary and secondary education in Emanshelinsk's secondary schools � 5 and 4, which I graduated from in 1984.
In 1984 I entered the first course of Chelyabinsk's Polytechnic Institute (now National Technical University) on Applied Mathematics department. I graduated from it in 1991. Got the qualification of engineer-mathematician.
I began my work activity at "TMK-CHESTEM" (Buildings Material Company), where I was directed to by assignment in August 1991. I worked there till 1992. First at position of programmer, then as a leader programmer of financial applications (dBase, Clipper, Assembler).
1992 -1994. SC "Asbestocement" (Raw and Buildings Material Company). Worked at position of programmer and system programmer at Automation Department. Participated in development and support of applications (desktop databases dBase, Clipper, FoxPro, with C, Pascal) for industrial enterprises on IBM PC under MS DOS 3.0 and above.
1994-1996. Programmer at "Microstack" Company (Software Company). Participated in several projects, relative to data modeling for business systems, applications development and support (desktop databases dBase, Clipper, FoxPro, Paradox with C, Pascal, Delphi) for industrial enterprises on IBM PC under MS DOS 3.0-6.0 and Windows 3.11. Co-designed project architecture of business system "Microstack". (Number of users - about 550). Designed and development the computer game "Nards". My accomplishment in it is a creation of sophisticated algorithm of this logical game I realized with Assembler, C/C++.
1996-1997. Software Developer/Analyst at "KIT - Stock Market" Company. Department of Computer Techniques and Informatics. Consulted software development project "Deposit" - electronic mail system for registration of stocks. Co-designed project architecture (including data base development).
From 1997 till present time I am working at "New Industrial Company" (Trade and industrial company) as a Chief of Information Systems Design Department I developed applications for trade and retail. (Delphi, C++, Clipper, SQL, dBase, Paradox, Pascal, Delphi). I also designed Web-site of New Industrial Company. URL: http://www.chat.ru/~leeex (HTML, JavaScript, Perl, PhotoShop).
I also participated in several side projects, relative to data modeling for business systems, applications development (desktop databases FoxPro 2.5 and MS Access 97, Borland Delphi 2.0-4.0.) for commercial banks and non-commercial organizations as Programmer/Data Analyst/System Integrator.
I have an experience in such software: DBASE III, CLIPPER 5, FOXPRO 2.0, 2.5, MS ACCESS 95/97, MS SQL SERVER 6.5, BORLAND DELPHI 2.0 - 4.0, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Perl, Basic, Fortran and PL/1; operation systems: MS DOS 3.0-6.22, Novell NETWARE 3.1x-4.1, MS WINDOWS 3.1-98, MS WINDOWS NT 3.5-4.0.
I have also an experience in such applications: MS OFFICE 97, Corel 5.0-8.0, PageMaker 6.5, PhotoShop, Netscape Composer, MS Front Page and so on.
LANGUAGES: Russian - fluent, English - read, translate, write and can make myself understood, German - beginner.
Have a drive certificate of B category.
Hobbies: music, cars.
Family status: married by first marriage since 1989. My wife Helen is programmer too. She has an analogous diploma and work experience. I have a son (Alexis, was born on the 4th of January, 1997).
